Global Expansion

Following the European expansion phase of the project, we plan on expanding our service globally. The first prerequisite for the development of our service offering to a new country is that the holographic testament format be recognized within the country’s legal framework.

If this initial prerequisite is met, we will prioritise countries in which regulations and national institutions do not pose any considerable barriers for the development of our service offering. Countries which have shown to be supportive of blockchain technology and the crypto-sphere in general will in all-likelihood also have good chances of being chosen during the global expansion phase of i-Ternity.

We believe that i-Ternity’s service will be of particular value in countries which do not practice forced heirship (the legal custom which mandates how a deceased person’s assets are disposed of after death in the event that no testament has been drafted). The reason being that in such countries it is very common for conflict to arise amongst the family members of a person who passes away as there are no predefined rules governing heritage transmission. By allowing individuals to easily draft their own testaments, i-Ternity could help prevent such conflicts by making sure the testator’s wishes are well communicated and respected after their passing away.
